Participation & Performance Men's Artistic Coach
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club is looking to recruit a Full-time Gymnastics Coach to continue the development of the club’s Participation and Men’s Artistic Performance Programmes. This is an essential role within the club and the successful candidate will be key to the club continuing to provide high quality gymnastics coaching across all ages and levels.
The Role
Responsible to the Head of Participation, the successful candidate will coach both Performance and Participation gymnasts. The successful candidate will be required to provide:
- Quality Planning and Delivery of allocated groups within the Club’s Participation Programme. Sessions plans to be developed to ensure participants follow the club’s curriculum.
- Quality Delivery of allocated groups within the Men’s Artistic Performance Programme (18 ½ hours per week). Sessions plans to be developed to ensure they meet the needs of the participants and follow the development plan set out by the Men’s Artistic Performance Team.
- To act as bridge between the Participation and Performance Teams, to lead the development of a Talent Identification programme, where key skills and attributes are identify and monitored with a view to gymnasts showing potential moving through the club.

Requirements
- The ideal candidate would hold at least a level 3 Men’s Artistic Coaching Qualification, current level 2 coaches with the ambition to gain further qualification will also be considered for the role.
- An ability to adapt their coaching style to a range of ages and abilities is essential.
- The successful candidate will have experience of planning and delivering coaching sessions.

WA Performance Coach (Maternity Cover)
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club is looking to recruit a full-time gymnastics coach initially to provide maternity cover. This is an essential role within the club and the successful candidate will be key to the club continuing to provide high quality gymnastics coaching across all ages and levels within our Women’s Artistic Performance Departments.
The Role
Responsible to Adam Folwell - Head of Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, the successful candidate will coach across the clubs Girl’s Performance Squads, with responsibility for a number of groups. An ability to adapt their coaching style to a range of ages and abilities is essential. The typical working week will be Tuesday to Saturday. The coach will be required to do additional duties within the club to ensure the position is viable. The contract is fixed initially for 1 year with the potential for the role to become permanent.

- Salary in excess of £26,000 (subject to qualification and experience)

Full Time Gymnastics Coach

The Role
Responsible to the Head of Participation, the successful candidate will coach across the clubs Participation Programme. The typical working week will be Tuesday to Saturday.

Apprentice Coach
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club is looking to recruit a full-time Apprentice Gymnastics Coach to enable someone to take their first steps into a career within sport. This is an opportunity for aspiring gymnastics coach to gain both experience and British Gymnastics Coaching qualifications in an established gymnastics club. In addition they will complete a Level 2 NVQ recognised nationally by Sport England.
The Role
Responsible to the Head of Participation Gymnastics, the successful candidate will gain experience coaching in a wide variety of sessions across the club. The coach will undertake a level 1 and a level 2 coaching qualification in a British Gymnastics Discipline. In addition the candidate will complete a Level 2 NVQ Community Activator Coach qualification.

- Initial apprentice pay of £6 per hour
- 40 hours per week over 5 days (either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday), including 8 hours college release time to complete educational training.
- 32 days of annual leave (including bank holidays).
