Full-time Gymnastics Coach

Huntingdon Gymnastics Club is looking to recruit a Full-time Gymnastics Coach to help to continue the clubs success.  This is an essential role within the club and the successful candidate will be key to the club continuing to provide high quality gymnastics coaching across all ages and levels.

The Role

Responsible to the Head of Participation, the successful candidate will coach across the clubs Participation Programme.  The typical working week will be Tuesday to Saturday.

 Benefits

  • Annual salary will be £22,000 - £23,000, 40 hours per week over 5 days
  • 33 days of annual leave (including bank holidays).
  • Opportunities to develop coaching skills through weekly internal staff training clinics lead by our senior coaching team.
  • Funded British Gymnastics coaching courses with mentoring support from our coaching team.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate would hold at least a level 2 coaching qualification in either Men’s, Women’s or General Gymnastics. Level 1 gymnastics coaches with the ambition to progress to Level 2 will also be considered.
  • An ability to adapt their coaching style to a range of ages and abilities is essential.
  • The successful candidate will have experience of planning and delivering coaching sessions.

Lead Adult and Participation Coach

Huntingdon Gymnastics Club is looking to recruit a Full-time Gymnastics Coach to continue the development of the club’s Participation and to lead the Adult Gymnastics Programme.  This is an essential role within the club and the successful candidate will be key to the club continuing to provide high quality gymnastics coaching across all ages and levels.

The Role

Responsible to the Head of Participation, the successful candidate will coach both Performance and Participation gymnasts.  The successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • Quality Planning and Delivery of allocated groups within the Club’s Participation Programme.  Sessions plans to be developed to ensure participants follow the club’s curriculum.
  • Lead the Planning of the Adult, 3 style / open Gymnastics sessions; ensuring sessions meet the needs of the Participation programme.
  • Coordinate work experience programmes with Local schools and Colleges

  • Annual salary will be £24,000 - £25,000, 40 hours per week over 5 days

Huntingdon Gymnastics Club is looking to recruit a full-time Apprentice Gymnastics Coach to enable someone to take their first steps into a career within sport.  This is an opportunity for aspiring gymnastics coach to gain both experience and British Gymnastics Coaching qualifications in an established gymnastics club.  In addition they will complete a Level 2 NVQ recognised nationally by Sport England.

The Role

Responsible to the Head of Participation Gymnastics, the successful candidate will gain experience coaching in a wide variety of sessions across the club.  The coach will undertake a level 1 and a level 2 coaching qualification in a British Gymnastics Discipline.  In addition the candidate will complete a Level 2 NVQ Community Activator Coach qualification.

 Benefits

  • Initial apprentice pay of £6 per hour
  • 40 hours per week over 5 days (either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday), including 8 hours college release time to complete educational training.
  • 32 days of annual leave (including bank holidays).
