“Gymnasts from Huntingdon Gymnastics Club tumbled their way to 4 regional titles and a Bronze medal at the East Region tumbling championships on Sunday in Luton
Jacob Tuck won gold in the L5 Men’s tumbling category capping off what has been a successful first year in the world of competitive tumbling. Also winning gold were Isaac Broadhurst for L4 Men’s, Tilly Allen for L5 Women’s and Becky Morris for L6 Women’s. In the Women’s L2 category Alyssia Meakes won the bronze medal with a solid performance. Also competing on the day were Sophie Loveridge, Nadine McMahon and Jessica Childerley who all performed well.
For 7 out of the 8 gymnasts competing, this was their first tumbling competition and all excelled themselves on the day with some great, near faultless passes. We will be looking forward to next year’s competition season and building on what is becoming a successful new discipline at Huntingdon Gymnastics Club”.
