Medals for Huntingdon Girls at County Championships
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club held the Women’s 2014 Cambridgeshire County Grades this weekend and the day was a great success for the Huntingdon squad girls.
In the first Grade, 14, the 8/9yrs category saw Emily Mathers win gold and team mate Evie Ruffles take the silver. In the more difficult, Grade 13, Ellie Sancaster came third and Amy Thompson won the 9/10 year old section.
Grade 12, in the 10/11 year old competition, brought silver for Alysia Meaks and there was silver for Nell Walton in the 12+ year section.
There was gold for Rachel Taylor in the 10/11 age group of Grade 11 with silver for Nadine McMahon and bronze for Ann Eidt. More gold, for Heather McIness in the 12+ years competition with silver for Cerys Gregory.
Hayley Marson collected the Silver medal in the Grade10 12+ section, with Charlotte Elson taking the Bronze. Maya Humphries won Gold in Grade 9 with Ellie Rogers winning the bronze.
All the girls in the top three will now go forward to represent Cambridgeshire at the regional final in Ipswich in April.
They are an excellent set of results and the club would like to thank the team of dedicated squad coaches at the club for the success, Good luck for the final.
